I originalyl put this in the motoring forum, sorry.

WE are going to Kanchanaburri to visit the wifes grandmother.

Usuall we get a bus from Phrapradaeng (mother in laws)to Kanchanaburri then motor bike and truck up to the village.

It is long and hard and i dont want to travel like that again.

Car hire is the way to go. Only i dont want to go in the city and drive from there.

Anyone know a car hire place in the western suburbs.

Phrapradaeng, along suksawat road even Samut Phrakan or maybe further out west near the bus station.

Any ideas?

Yes, it can be hard figuring out what forum to try! I think you might do better with this over in the Bangkok forum. Why don't we try it over there a bit and see what happens. If it doesn't get traction, we'll move it back! OK?
