klikster
I think it was 'kamalabob' who first alerted me to this. http://www.architect...or_list-eng.php I plan to do some serious looking and brain-picking. Anyone planning to attend?
saengsureeya
Not sure, but I'll surely attend this one: http://www.buildtechexpo.com/expo2012/
klikster
Not sure, but I'll surely attend this one: http://www.buildtechexpo.com/expo2012/ Maybe that's the one I was looking for when I found the other. They both look similar. I wonder if anyone here has attended both and can offer a comparison.
beechstreet
Maybe that's the one I was looking for when I found the other. They both look similar. I wonder if anyone here has attended both and can offer a comparison. I've been to both, there is definitely a lot of overlap between the two. But from what I recall the Architect Show has a lot of booths where designers/builders/moo baans are offering their services, also more furniture and domestic wares. Its geared more towards consumers and people who might hire an architect. Where as I think the Buildtech show has more materials, fabricators, some light manufacturing, etc. Slightly focused more on the construction part of the process not the designing part. Buildtech is still pretty consumer friendly, not as industrial as say http://www.metalex.co.th/ or http://www.intermachshow.com/. I say go to both, I always find something to be interested in.
