Restaurant Manager seriously hurt in drink-related crash in South Pattaya

PATTAYA:--A suspected drunk driver was badly injured in a single-vehicle road accident on the Sukhumvit Road in South Pattaya in the early hours of Tuesday.

Khun Samlee, the manager of a restaurant in South Pattaya, was driving back to his place of work after drinking with friends in Jomtien when his motorbike clipped the curb causing him to fall from his bike and land head-first onto the road. The crash was seen by a friend who was driving on a motorbike behind him.

It's sad that a momentary lapse in good judgement can result in such a tragedy. Especially where motorbikes are involved.

Is sad but know one to blame but himself!!! No excuse in my opinion for drinking and driving!!

I always hate when they refer to it as: 'THE' sukhumvit rd. Yes I know it's grammar but it;s just "Sukhumvit rd."
