Are Bars Closing At All Soon For Songkran Or Princess' Funeral?

Does anyone know if bars around Nana will stay open during Songkran? Also I read something last week about bars closing from 8th to 10th for the late Princess' funeral but can't find that link. Is this still the case?

I didnt know anybody cared if the soi bars were open around Nana. Weren't the authorities going to pull down that isan-lao grotto years ago ? Bars controlled by BIB will be open. Follow the Thai imbibers.

Everything should be open over Songkran, but will be closed #8 and #9 for the funeral.

At least that's the word I'm getting from those who work there.
