Would anyone know where replacement locks of this type can be obtained in Bangkok or Korat.

There would be many types and fittings, but there is a fairly universal size which could be adapted easily to a lot of cases.

Suitcase itself is too good to throw out.

I've purchased this type of thing in Australia and some are very good quality, better than the originals, but cannot locate here!

I'll move this over to the Bangkok forum and hope somebody can refer you to a place that repairs suitcases. I think you'll have more luck with that in BKK, but I know here in Pattaya, there are several shops who do this.
