I know some of you are going to hate this as I'm talking about breaking the law !

I'm about to sned a 20ft container of my personal and domestic pocession to Thailand.

I've got a little MGF sports car that is worth £500 / $750 .. Its a cracking little car but has no second hand value here in the UK

I'm thinking of sticking it in the container.. If the open the container at the docks , they will find it and confiscate it.

As long as they still clear the rest of my stuff ..thats fine.

I know of people that have sneaked in motorbikes and they now ride them around Patts illegally, if they get stoped they just slip the police 1000bht.

But a bike has no front number plate , so youre going to get stopped less.

Does anyone " have a friend" go has a car in LOS that isn't legal

maybe with no plates at all or fake plates

I suspect this topic will get deleted or no helpful answers !

If its only worth a few quid and you dont mind losing it just do it legally.

If the excise guys hit you with too big a number just walk away. If it's a POS they may not want it for themselves.

Import of used vehicles is (or is about to be) totally prohibited, you you're likely stuffed doing it legally.

Thaivisa does not permit discussion of illegal activities such as smuggling, so sorry, got to close this. Forum rules are here http://www.thaivisa.com/forum/index.php?app=forums&module=extras&section=boardrules please read them again.

Leave the car at home.
