rachit85 Posted April 22, 2012 Posted April 22, 2012 Hello, I just had my first service at Toyota service center and was not happy as no one speaks English there. They could not explain anything on what they are going to do. This is not the way I would like to hand over my car to them next time. Does anyone knows any dealer where service center staff have some English language skill?
BigBikeBKK Posted April 23, 2012 Posted April 23, 2012 Same question, I bought my VIGO from Phumpattana (sp?) Toyota in Minburi and they used to have an English speaking service manager who always took good care of me but I believe he has retired and sadly the other staff are not meeting my expectations. I'm ready to trade in my truck for a new car but would prefer a dealership with English speaking sales and service staff. Anyone know of such a dealer in Bangkok, preferably Bang Kapi area? Thanks in advance!
BigBikeBKK Posted April 24, 2012 Posted April 24, 2012 Darn, 55 views and no replies. Perhaps there isn't a single Toyota dealer in the Bangkok area with English speaking staff?
DD13 Posted April 25, 2012 Posted April 25, 2012 I too am trying to find a "decent" dealership to order a replacement "Vigo", here in Pattaya. Alas I am finding it difficult with their couldn't care less attitude, one showroom talking down to me yesterday. I asked about free insurance, which was standard when I bought my present Vigo 18 months ago, and he almost laughed in my face, I spoke to a Thai neighbour afterwards, as he had just bought the same vehicle, and he said all Thais' get free insurance. Double standards evident "as usual" So if by chance any Toyota dealers are reading this, and you want to make a sale, contact me
John 1 Posted April 25, 2012 Posted April 25, 2012 In Thailand I had always been a Mitsu owner till last year I bought a Sporto Fortuner and this is on Samui the dealership here are cheats and liars. I know strong word's but true. I took it yesterday for the 10K service I supplied my own oil as they only use mineral oil. At end of service received a bill for 1250bt. I said what why charge for oil. Then it was a mad scurry oh sorry we didn't use your oil so another 30 minutes to change there oil again and use mine and a new filter again. Then the bill 200bt for service plus filter I said sorry service is free then they said oh yes you are right only pay for filter. I said you grease the nipples on the tail shaft oh yes sir.I looked under and clean as a whistle so not done oh sorry again grease gun broken. So yes they are thieves and liars.
