Traditional Christmas Lunch Dinner

Featured Replies

I realise it is a little late to be asking this question, but for future years, it would be helpful. Where in Chiangrai can you get traditional Christmas lunch or dinner? It would also be helpful to answer the same question regarding Thanksgiving!

Any recommendations would be appreciated. Of course it is quite possible there is no such thing as Christmas or Thanksgiving lunch and/or dinners in Chiangrai!

Thanks, one and all, and Merry Christmas and Happy New Year

You might see some foreigners walking around a little bit slower than usual. They will look a little bit swollen and sometimes, with a painful expression on their faces, they put a hand on their stomach. Usually they speak English with an American accent.

But this you will not notice until you ask them "How was your Christmas dinner?"

And then, quickly, you ask them "Where did you have it?"

You could also ask Thai people who look a little bit green in their faces :D and who you see putting on a finishing spurt to the nearest 'hong nam' :D . On their way back you just simply ask them "Where did you get it?" They probably have 'farang' friends who invited them to 'enjoy' a Christmas dinner with them.

Dear Chiangrai57020,

Count your blessings: You missed it!

I wish you and all the other readers and writers of our forum the best for the coming year as well. May your bloodpressure stay withing a healthy range and your cholesterol below 200. May you have a good sex life and enjoy living in our small, survey-able and pleasant town!

See you at the new-years party at Bo's Place :o

Limbo :D
