How To Get More Space On Your Android Phone

Featured Replies

As a ZTE Blade (Orange San Francisco) owner this just caught my eye , but I'm not too sure what its about ? , can any one explain please smile.png

I have no idea what that video was all about but did you know that you can flash your Blade with an unofficial version of ICS now? Mine's working very nicely with it.

As part of the procedure you can also partition the memory to give you more space, depending on which model of the Blade you have. (Mine was a first generation model and half the built-in memory was deliberately made unusable.)

And there are apps available that allow you to move installed apps to the SD card, thus freeing up a load more internal memory.

Best GBP90 I ever spent on a gadget.

If yours is 1st gen and has not been upgraded to 2nd gen then half your memory will be inaccessible as I mentioned.

I'm using this ROM which works very nicely for all the functions that I have tested. You do need to know what you are doing when you flash it though as repartitioning may be necessary.

I still think the Blade is fantastic value for money.

Thanks for the information , Ive re checked which version I have ( using - ask mr pigfish ) and I have a second gen phone .

All the memory is available by default on 2ndGen phones.

You might like to consider using an "app2sd" app which will liberate a lot of memory.
