if someone asked me what are your looking in your life partner? I will asnwer something similar to your above statement (including honesty, caring).However the lover part of my partner I would like him to be as my 1st post in this thread.

I am single so when I start to imagine my life,lover...I can jsut fantasize as much as I want. If I ever find someone I want to share my life with I may change my lover expectations parts because he maybe have something that i never though about it and I may really like it.

However, IMHO and from a married mans perspective, a deep seated and true beleif in your partner, coupled with a shared feeling of comfort and a honest love for each other, is more important than being "imaginative". Now if you add those ingredients to say, a rocky outcrop on the side of a hill, with spectacular views down the valley as far as the eye can see, late in the afternoon with a cooling breeze just enough to fan the tree branches back and forth............., well that could be construed as imaginative

but HOw do you like your lover? I mean your wife is also your lover...so what are the things you like about your wife when you look for the lover side ( you don´t need to talk intimacies).
