Chinese Ceramic Tea Pot And Cups

Featured Replies

Hi all! I have been looking for a Chinese thick walled ceramic tea pot and cups as in the attached picture.

Anyone who knows if I can get one of these of high quality in Bangkok?

Thanks!

why not try Chinatown or ask in a Chinese restaurant? Otherwise if your ever doing a run to KL there is a great china/kitchen shop in Chinatown there ...a real Chinese Aladdin's cave

There is a shop that sells chinese teapots outside Chong Nonsi BTS. Take the exit that leads down to where they are building Maha Nakon. The shop is about 2-3 shops further along in the direction of Silom Road. I found it at http://www.mycitybangkok.com/tea-shops-in-bangkok.html, although the address isn't given.

There is a small shop on the ground floor of Paradise park on Srinakarin Road - as you enter the building from the Car Park, opposite the large Villa store - which sells Chinese Tea and accessories including Teapots and Cups.

There is also a shop on the ground floor of Siam Paragon that sells tea and teapots.

Chatuchak Market in the inside Mall part on the basement floor there are endless shops of chinese ceramic teapots and little cups. Also the mall is open during the week as well as the weekend so it won't be as busy during Monday - Friday. :)
