Looking For A Non-Expensive Apartment - Aree, Silom, Sathorn Or Close To Bts Stations

Featured Replies

Hi everyone,

I am looking for a place to live in Bangkok and would prefer to stick to the 4000 - 7000 budget range for monthly rent.

Do any of you know of places in close to the BTS stations and, if possible, in areas like Sathorn/Silom, Aree ( I know it can be a bit expensive in this area), or other central Bangkok areas? By close to BTS I mean a maximum of a 10 minute walk.

thank you in advance for your help!

Not sure if helpful but typically you can find cheaper and much better deals along the MRT than the BTS. Both go to Silom.

Most likely you will have to go exploring a bit to some of the areas of Bangkok you would like to live in. I know Sathorn has affordable apartments to rent from, also around Onnut area. You might also inquire from a Motorcycle taxi driver or a taxi driver.

I used to live a fairly good apartment over near Onnut BTS and the room was cheap but it was suitable.

You might try some of the Thai apartment search guides to get a feel for what is also in that area or near. Such as Universities, Schools, parks, shopping malls, etc.

Good luck

Get to Sapan Kwai BTS Station and walk behind BIG C....A lot of Apartments there under 6k a month.
