I am in Chiang Mai and although I have basic internet options today... for some reason I cannot access websites. Any ideas / suggestions

The response is 'Problem Loading Page'.

Possibly problems with the DNS server. What ISP are you using? You can try changing your DNS address to 8.8.8.8 or OpenDNS and see if that fixes it.

Ermmmm. I have and use primarily Firefox Tywais... but also have on my MS MS Explorer and Google Chrome - both of which produce the same result of

'Problem Loading Page'.

I just 'clocked The Rocks' with a posting on CM TV and it seems I am not alone. Shut down the entire system including modems and am back in business, al beit very slow. Thanks for your prompt response

ISP = Internet Service Provider = the company you pay every month for your internetconnection.

It fixed both my connection and speed problem.
