I received an email from Etihad asking me to "make an offer" for an upgrade, has anyone else ever had this? and what would you offer for the upgrade ?

I have never encountered this before.

Reading the email further through and following the links etc it seems they want you to offer between 12k and 23k per person per leg of the journey.

So a BKK -LHR would be a minimum of 24k to max of 46k for the upgrade per person each way.

Basically more than doubling the price of the original ticket as a minimum. No thanks I'll pass !
