Anybody obtain a tourist visa at the Thai Embassy in Yangon recently? If, so what kind of paperwork is needed?

Have not, but www.makemytrip.com/legal/visaregulations-Thailand.php has all the relevant information that you need for any Thai Embassy for a tourist visa application. The application is available there also as is the information for any type of Thai visas.

Pretty much the same paper work you would need some where else. In years past yangon wasn't a grear destination to get visas, maybe it has changed.
