Looks like CAT intends to shut down True-H. Will be interesting to see how they'll explain this to the millions of subscribers already signed up. I'll miss it, if and when they do - TiT so you never know...

The news on TOT is unsurprising - who didn't see this coming from about 100 miles away? TOT unable to retail 3G... but manages to make a loss on its 3G network.

Real Move's attempt to quickly expand its subscriber base has hit a snag after the national broadcasting and telecom watchdog declined to award the remaining 1.75 million mobile-phone numbers out of the 3.5 million allotted to CAT Telecom, which will pass on most numbers to Real Move to provide service.

Direk Charoenphol, chairman of the National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission (NBTC)'s number allocation committee, said the rejection follows CAT's refusal to pay the overdue total mobile-phone number fee of Bt6 million to the watchdog for the first lot of 1.75 million granted to CAT.

The payment for the first lot was due in April. CAT held back on the fee payment pending the probe into the legality of CAT-True Corp 3G-service partnership deals.

I wouldn't worry a bit!

True will probably go to court to fight CAT, the whole issue will take years to get sorted out and October (3G licenses auction) is around the corner.

I am happy with the Truemove-H service, I really hope they get through this.
