If not does any one know of a site, where i can send free SMS's within Thaiand from the web?

I'd like to know, too. Have you tried emailing one of the forum administrators?

We still haven't reached an agreement with a reliable provider for SMS. Will revert as soon as we have some news. TiT.

In the mean time, does anyone know of a free SMS service on the internet that allows one to send an SMS to a phone in Thailand? I know its been discussed before. Searched for it and didn't come up with anything though.

I use Yahoo Messenger to send SMSes to mobile phones all over the world, and it's free.

Sorry if this is a dumb question, but my Yahoo Messenger seems to only allow messages to be sent to the USA (area code and phone number). Can you tell me how you do this?

I am in the USA.

There should be a drop down box(click the small triangle to the right of the box containing USA) and select the country that you would like to send to.

I use both ICQ and Yahoo, and on Yahoo I can use my GPRS phone to maintain availability to clients when away from the PC.

ICQ is also free for SMS. My wife also uses it to SMS me, from Korea.
