EXPORTERS CAN VISIT EXPORT-HELP WEBSITE TO OBTAIN MORE INFO. ON EU MARKET

On February 2004, the European Commission (EC) launched a website http://export-help.cec.ed.int. The website provides an access to developing countries to search for information on global economy. It also provides the opportunities for developing countries to participate in the market of the European Union (EU).

Information on various measures and economic dimensions at “Export-Help” website will enable exporters from developing nations to introduce and sell their products and services in EU countries in a proper manner.

Talking about this website statistics, it receives an average of 3,500 visitors per day, and around 140 to 160 inquiries are being posted by the internet surfers each month. At the same time, about 100 to 120 people are making “offers and demands” at the website.

Information and facts being provided at http://export-help.cec.ed.int include:

Requirements and taxes section of each EU country member

Gross State Product (GSP) tax rate, import tariffs, customs documents, and rules of origin sections

Market Place Section or a place for exporters can contact the EU importers
