Looking For A Cheap Chopper, Ubon Det Udom Area

Hi all, I am looking to buy a chopper motorbike, around the 60,000 Baht mark legal green book. Looked at the usual sites, but can't find any around here. Don't want to travel to BKK, Pattaya etc. Anyone have one for sale or know of a second hand bike shop around Ubon, Det Udon area. It doesn't have to be great, just a boys toy. There is a SYM/KEEWAY Dealer in Ubon and they have a variety of bikes. A few "chopper" style bikes. I stopped and looked at an enduro style bike, 200cc which looked okay. Prices were about 59,000 Baht. They said the bikes were from Taiwan but everything I found on the internet leads them to be made in China.

I have a Steed 450 for sale, it needs a new plug lead (thanks to my puppy). It doesn't have any paperwork though. Let me know if you are interested.

Cops do check bikes' documents nowadays. I'd think twice before buying one without..

Go to "big bike" Sisaket, near the market and you might find a bike that suits you.

Coming from Ubon, first street right, over the railway and you'll see the shop after about 200 meters on the left.

<p>P.S. I'd never buy a Chinese made crappy bike. Ask anybody who had one before.....

Thanks for that Sisaket is in driving distance. You are right bikes get confiscated at the side if the road. Not a problem round here in the jiungle, but I want to ride to other areas so has to be legal. Jim

Sorry Jim...he came into Peppers this morning and he sold it last week. Phi Bun Mike has a nice Steed...
