PTT Fuel Prices Set To Increase Again

Featured Replies

PTT IS LIKELY TO INCREASE FUEL PRICES AFTER HIGH FLUCTUATION IN GLOBAL FUEL PRICES

PTT Plc. President PRASERT BUNSAMPHAN (ประเสริฐ บุญสัมพันธ์) said that the petrol prices in the global market are now increasing by one to two USD per barrel per day over the past week. He said the local oil traders are bearing the burden.

He stated that the PTT will have to wait till this afternoon before the company will decide whether it will increase the oil prices.

He said various issues would affect the oil price adjustments, such as the settled conflicts between Ukraine and Russia and the natural hazards. He said it is possible for the PTT to raise the prices of fuel products in the near future.
