hello, i will be coming to thailand at end of october with my wife and son, my mother has decided to come along for 2weeks and wants to go to the beach, we have been told that cha am is nice and quite but what is the weather like end of oct/beggining nov. appreciate any info

That is near the end of the rainy season and you can have either good or bad weather depending on luck. I've been here eight years and typically October has been the wettest month of the year but it doesn't rain constantly. There are heavy rains that last no more than a few hours usually and then the sun comes back out.
