Mega Bangna Swedish Festival 2012

BANGKOK: -- The Swedish Festival 2012 will be held at the Fashion Galleria, Level 1 at Mega Bangna to celebrate the 144th anniversary of Thai-Sweden relations. Throughout the festival from 1 to 10 June there will be different festivities to look forward to.

Some of the activities include a Swedish Life Exhibition and cultural performances such as the traditional Swedish dance 'Little Frog'.

Also part of the programme are various workshops to introduce the Swedish culture such as making the Swedish 'krans' (flower wreath) and some traditional Swedish games. There will also be samples from the Swedish cuisine there.

The Swedish Jazz Festival will be on 9 and 10 June and will feature Swedish Jazz artists like Jonathan Fritzén, Camilla Lundstedt, Ulf & Eric Wakenius. They will also perform with well-known Thai Jazz artists like Koh Mr.Saxman, Nung Jakkawal and others.
