Further Troubles Within The TRT Party

TRT MEMBER FROM UDON THANI HAS REQUESTED MRS.URAIWAN THIENTHONG TO RESIGN FROM THE PARTY

A house member from Udon Thani (อุดรธานี) province under Thai Rak Thai Party VICHAI CHAIJITWANICHKUL (วิชัย ชัยจิตวณิชกุล) said he feels sorry about the situation where leader of WANG NAM YEN (วังน้ำเย็น) faction SANOH THIENTHONG (เสนาะ เทียนทอง) has asked his faction’s members to join the opposition in running the censure debate against the ruling party.

He added that the party will not proposed the matter to Ethical Committee for consideration since Mr. SANOH is a senior politician but he has requested Mrs. URAIWAN THIENTHONG (อุไรวรรณ เทียนทอง) to resign from the party if she sees the party is not good enough. However, he confirms TRT leader Thaksin Shinawatra will not relieve Mrs. URAIWAN from her position.

Dr. VICHAI does not agree with banishing WANG NAM YEN faction from the party. He said the problems arose due to conflicts of idealism.

TRT PARTY IS WILLING TO BE INSPECTED

The Executive Director of the Thai Rak Thai Party, Mr. SURANAND VEJJAJIVA (สุรนันทน์ เวชชาชีวะ) has commented about the situation where members of the party will sign their names to join the up coming no-confidence debate that it is considered to be their rights.

He added that TRT party would not protect its members involved in wrongdoing and that Prime Minister THAKSIN SHINAWATRA will be willing to be inspected on his performances.

Mr. SURANAND said those members struggling with doubts can discuss with the party and he has also urged the members to respects the regulations and not to use politics to ruin the image of the party.
