Hello guys,

I use blackberry bold 9780 with pre-paid Truemove sim and I use the BB300 package which states unlimited GPRS/EDGE/3G for one month for 450 baht. I use only 2G but whenever I have credits in my phone, it keeps decreasing and I don't know why. Can be some app but then I am able to use all apps when I got no balance in my phone at all. I'm only not able to watch youtube. Any ideas why balance is eaten away? And any idea how to stop it? I have a UK version blackberry which is unlocked and I re-installed OS6

Sorry guys I mean BB30 package. Not BB300

I just checked the Term sheet:

6. Privilege 6.1 In case of selecting a 3, 7 or 30 day package, the users are entitled for unlimited services as follows: • Push –email up to 10 accounts • Applications (only those designed by BlackBerry service provider which exclude any other applications developed by the third party); • Unlimited Internet access on BlackBerry browser. 6.2 In case of selecting BlackBerry Chat1 (BBM+Social) package, the users are entitled for unlimited EDGE/GPRS access via APN on BlackBerry.net for chatting and social networking only; 6.3 In case of selecting BlackBerry Chat2 (BBM+Email) package, the users are entitled for unlimited EDGE/GPRS access via APN on BlackBerry.net for chatting and emailing only; 6.4 Unlimited 3G** (speed of up to 7.2 Mbps) service (volume of usage is based on the user’s selected package) free of charge from the date of registration or from the date on which this promotion is effective until 31 May 2011 or until stated otherwise. Remark: 3G** service (on 850 MHz band frequency) is available in specific areas free of charge as part of network improvement and development. TrueMove reserves the right to amend, change, suspend or cancel 3G service at any time as it deems appropriate with notice through any appropriate channels. 7. The following services do not include in this BlackBerry Service package: 7.1 WAP browser 7.2 Internet tethering 7.3 Streaming 7.4 Data usage on 3rd party applications 7.5 Multimedia messaging services (MMS)

One thing could be your browser/internet settings and the apps you are using (see point 7 - 7.5 of the termsheet). I use AIS one 2 call freedom with the 899 baht unlimited package and I have never been charged for any baht on data transfers beside the normal call and sms/mms fees. True also offers a unlimited 899 baht/month package which I guess also includes all other apps etc..

but then i am still able to use my browser even tho i have no balance in my phone. All apps i use can still be used if there is no balance. But when there is balance, the balance is eaten away. Like one day i have 20baht then next day i would be left with 6baht and third day 0 baht. I think it's the WAP which is eating away money. Any idea how to disable WAP and use only APN?

As far as I know you cant disable WAP. You can only choose between 3G and 2G or 2G only in the Blackberry settings. But i still suggest that there is a app which fals under point 7 and ongoing of the term sheet.

I would suggest to contact the call center and ask them. Normaly they can track back what and why you are charged.
