Where To Buy Pool Floaties/lounges?

Featured Replies

Hey all,

Back home, once in a while, we like to get together some pool lounges (infalatable chairs that you sit in in the pool - the kind with beer holders) and sit around in the pool looking like big hillbillies on their honeymoon in Cancun. Our apartment complex pool is nice and ready for some action, but, being a Thai pool, all of the sun decks are technically more like shade decks. Therefore, we have to make do with what we can think of.

Naturally I don't expect to find anything as eclectic and hilariously awful as a Texas flag or crying eagle pool floatie here, but any old floatie would do nicely. Not being from here (and with the lack of domestic pools in densely populated cities) I haven't yet come across a pool store like one might find 200 of in the suburbs of Houston, Atlanta, Phoenix or any other newer, sunnier city in America. So, does anyone know if pool floaties (pool lounges?) exist in Bangkok? I've found some online back home of course, but they also (of course) cost a bundle to ship. Any help is appreciated, but I understand if the request may be too eccentric (and/or stupid) to meet with any success. Then again, I have yet to find almost anything (just two things) that I want that I can't find here in Bangkok, so it never hurts to ask.

Thanks!
