When Youre At Home, Do You Wear Your Regular Outside Clothes.? Lol..Random, I Know..

Featured Replies

Ok, its a pretty random question..i know. Its late, was supposed to go out, but instead im writing a random question in Bedlam.

Anyway, i never wear outside clothes, when at home. As soon as i get in, off come the outside clothes, and on go pyjamaish shorts or slip or something as comfortable.

I cant imagine sitting about in jeans, or anything constricting.

So are you an indoor/outdoor same togs wearer, or a comfy changer?

Maybe you always wear comfy clothes, so dont need to, but i also like the clean feeling of having clothes for inside.

Also, men have it kinda easier anyway.

yes, this is random.

Its Bedlam.

So i have license.

Sleep in running shorts - keep them on until I've had brekkie and a shower (all the S's in fact - shit, shave, shower and shampoo). Then change and out.

When I come back home I usually keep on my street clothes for an hour or two, before stripping and showering again.

Currently, redecorating my house, I change into overalls rather than street clothes for much of the day.

I like to wear a three piece suit, listen to Barry Manilow records and press my nose against the fish tank (to scare the bejeesus out of the tropical fish) while I'm at home. I change into something more casual before I go out.

Well, not quite (I lied about the fish tank), but I do change into fresh gear before I go out...

Yeah, after shower......

Warm weather = Tee shirt & lavalava, love the freedom of lavalavas without underdungers, cool breeze keeping family jewels ready.

Cooler weather = Sloppy woollen pullover and baggy shorts, to keep the aforementioned jewels warm.

Boxers, for the benefit of the neighbours

I also wear them when I go out, by the way, for the benefit of the ambulance crew

always change as soon as I get in unless I know I am going out within half an hour, hate sitting in jeans or work clothes at home, always wear loose tracksuit pants & vest in doors.

Call me self-concious but the robes, crown and scepter just draw too many stares when I wear them outside.

You've kept that secret you old queen! laugh.png

Where is Zzaa when ya need him?

Anyway I wear my old school uniform every night in the hope that one day I will turn 18 again.....tongue.png

I always wear the comfy clothes when at home....the 'wouldn't be seen outside in these clothes' I will happily wear at home.

I generally change out of my good togs straight into the comfy clothes a few minutes after I am in the door.

The reasons are various and include:

*I can wear the same 'in house' clothes for several days, up to 5 really, without having to wash them, this excludes underwear, when worn, which is most times.

* if I only wear my outside good clothes in short bursts I can then also wear them for 2-3 wears. This save extraneous laundry duties of any kind

*My in house clothes are often more comfortable, loose fitting, but not very stylish

* I like a lot of sauce on various foods. Tomato sauce, Curry sauce, etc. This can and does lead to spillage and I don't like to 'ruin' my going outside clothes.

* Some clothes are not that comfortable sitting about on a lounge or computer chair but they look good when I go out.

i tend to change shirt, pants, shoes when I get home

Ooh la la - to have a place of my own and be able to strip down to my Marks and Sparks knickers and an old t-shirt!!!

I'm amazed people put so much thought into this. I tend to wear shorts when I am swimming....and boots when on the footie field. That's about it for me.

I don't own pajamas though...

in Thailand I always just wear underwear when at home...no reason to wear anything more...but I wear the outrageously patterned, cotton 'clown shorts' that everyone wears around here to take out the garbage as there is a limit to my neighborhood indecency...

That's what you wore to work in Vietnam sick.gif

and then RO and EK shouted...but I didn't mind...buncha dumbshits that wore shirts and ties at site in the mud...

and shiny shoes!

humph..ye gots to give me a break...sad.png

Haha. tnx for answers to such an odd random question.

Seems its the norm rather than not, at least for us lot anyway.

now...lets make a cup of tea and imagine what ms eek looks like in her pyjamas...or, rather, something more 'licentious' and 'comfortable'...tongue.png and does she bathe before with scented bathwater?

(you said it, ms eek in the OP...swear to god...)

Ooh la la, stop it you little tease ;)

(I now have an image of my cat in M&S knickers, which is quite disturbing as it isn't that unpleasant)

For me, the last things to go on before I leave the house are the first things to come off when I return, it's just too uncomfortable to sit here in gold spandex.

I think you need to visit the vet.

nah...the harsh conditions in the east midlands precluded bestial considerations even though the ale was good...

and we had a friendly fuzzy cat called 'Fuzzcat' that was left behind by the neighbors when they fled as the screaming and violence from our side was too much for them to bear on Peet Street in Derby but she was just a cat and interspecies sexual relationships were never an issue...

Generally naked at home, i have high walls around the property so neighbors are not a problem :)

Mrs MH has also adopted a similar style... now i know i am biased but watching Mrs MH wander about the house in her birthday suit doing the house hold chores is a wonderful sight

My mate Paul back home was always dressed in a long sleeved Ralph Lauren style shirt, socks and trousers even when just chilling and watching the TV which I always found a bit strange. In LOS I'm a t-shirt or polo shirt wearer with long shorts around the house and unless it's pretty formal even when I go out. When my wife goes to a seminar or something I'll usually forgo the shorts and sit around in a pair of boxers in the house. Just call me Mr.GQ.

mca, my uncle sits in his trousers and shirt, even though retired now, still does it. Even when he lived in the tropics at one point, still in shirt and trousers.

Really dislike feeling constrained, like to feel loungy when at home.

birthday suit.

wearin it now.

I hope its not wrinkled from too long in the closet
