True Mobile Micro Sim With Unlimited Local Calls, Text, & Web

Featured Replies

Last time I was in Bangkok I went to the Tesco Lotus looking for True sim cards. There were dozens on the shelf, and I was just lost on which one I needed...

Two questions:

1) What True sim product do I need for unlimited local calls, text messages, and 3g web?

2) And will that product come pre-cut as a micro sim or will I need to use a sim cutter?

Thanks

Jacob

I do not believe any service provider here offers unlimited local calls, text messaging and 3G.

I believe all service providers now offer micro SIMs, which can be snapped out of a full SIM package.

What make/model phone do you have?

TrueMove H, DTAC/Happy and AIS/One-2-Call all offer pre-paid service.

Typically one would buy a SIM, add value, take or change the default talk/messaging promotion, then add a data plan.

I ended up going with True, and it's worked out well so far. I'm using them for home internet too, and works very well. The rates are pretty cheap I think, compared to the US.
