Muggi1968
We have been using 3BB adsl (felephone line) for 6 years in Kanchanaburi. 8M down 0.8M up which is okey (we pay for 9M/1M). But after our router die and 3BB gave us new "SmartAX 880 MT" router we now only have 3M down 512 Kb Up. 3BB tell us "Bad luck" (Mayby they want a bride) 3M/1M is to slow for our internet game shop :-( Can anybody recommend other Internet provider ??? Kwasaki
I don't know of any better than 3BB. I have been through 2 others TOT & CAT but found them not as good as 3BB in my area they charge me 632baht a month for 6.4 mb but it's for personal use. I have always found them very helpful and surprised at the response you are getting. Try asking on the " internet, computers, communications, technology " forum. asia3492
Stick with 3BB and get a new modem of your own!
Genericnic
Stick with 3BB and get a new modem of your own! I agree with asia3492. If the only thing that changed was the router, try a different router. The ones that 3BB uses (made by Huawei) are pretty useless. I got a TP-Link instead and have excellent throughput (up and down), much better than I did when I tried the router they use. Also, make sure the firmware of your router is up to date. RKASA
Yes a new router or first see if it is not set up correctly. A few mis settings can slow it. Get the manual out go online and research the best configuration - if they 3BB have it locked down then get your own and don't be too penny foolish about the type.
