July 3, 201213 yr So I turn 30 today ( 4th July ) ... I have had so e good advise from this forum since I joined 5 years ago ... But now I have hit the big 30 .. Is there any good advise to offer before I hit the even bigger 40 ? Or is there anything I should do that members have regretted they didn't do at my age ?
July 4, 201213 yr Congrats Boater! You bought a sports car yet? Do it now....its so much more embarrassing if ya have yer mid life crisis at 40.... Not that I've reached that milestone yet of course.
July 4, 201213 yr I remember giving up all that naughty stuff for my 30th birthday. Best thing I ever did that was.
July 4, 201213 yr HB Boater - here I was thinking you were probably around the age of your former avatar. My only advice is don't bother to lie about your age. Remain 30 by refusing to recognise any future birthdays (but of course, you may still receive gifts as a good will gesture - simply not as birthday presents). I'm only 21. Would you believe it? 21! July 4, 201213 yr There was a survey of pensioners in the UK a few years ago asking what they regretted most. The top answer was not enough sex.

July 5, 201213 yr Aye.......start a pension scheme You'll be 50 before you know it and kicking yourself if you don't. We don't want you to be moaning your face off on the British pensioner thread in a few years Happy Birthday
July 5, 201213 yr ^Good point, but thread? There's enough material for George to kick off an entire 'Whingeing British Pensioners' sub-forum. (It's okay - I already have my hat. I'll just go and get my coat...)
