I transferred money from overseas several times to buy a condo. Each time i asked my bank for a "credit advice" and they gave it to me.

But to me this document looks like ordinary photostatted copy. The bank said their HQ faxed it to them.

Is this acceptable? How do i make sure or how do i check if my document is original?

I have heard that there is a limit on the number of years. Ask at the land office where you would register your purchase. If the time limit is too short to suit you, please message me.

If you mean the FET Foreign Exchange Transaction document to later prove your funds came from outside Thailand......

Yes everyone I have ever gotten just looks like a copy of the transaction from the banks side.

Showing amount, date, where it was transferred in from etc.

Yes mine do not look very "official" either.

But I just staple it to the US counterpart I have & hope it will suffice if ever I want to remove money from the country etc.

My friend transfers property all of the time for Russians, and she told me she has had some transfers for two years, and there was no problem. Check with the land office when you are going to do the transfer first
