Ball Pythons In Thailand? Where To Get Them?

Ball Pythons In Thailand? Where To Get Them?

Chatuchak market in Bangkok.

As far as I am aware, buying one would be illegal, it would also encourage the continuing capture and profit of the trade in illegal animals, just so you know.

How about a nice puppy instead?

ouch, personally didn't know its illegal.

actually after a long search on google, i found those shops.

Kassiba Hut

Chatu Chack Weekendmarket

Peninsula Shopping Centre

if its illegal, how come they have shops for it? most of the baby snakes are farm bred

i dont like capturing wild snakes

well, why i don't settle with puppy :o

my wife is allergic to cats/dogs , i live in a small appartment. those animals need to be walked and alot of care not to mention constant cleaning and they keep shitting.

my uncle is a dog breeder :D so i go there every couple of weeks and have fun with the dogs and a horse.

umm.. what is the chatu chak market? how is it like?

Where did you get the information that they are illegal? I think you'll find they are captive bred here since they originate from Africa.

Chatacuk market is a good place for snakes now, there are some excellent shops down there that are specialising in herptiles though I haven't seen any ball pythons recently I know they could get you one without a problem.

If you go in the weekdays the fish and pets section is open and its not as busy as the weekend. There is one shop that is very good and has an excellent range of snakes with a very helpful and knowledgable owner in the fish section but I haven't got its name or number. I'm in love with a Tangerine milksnake he has down there, only problem was the price! Ball pythons I think he could get you pretty easily and all his reptiles are in excellent condition.

My mate had a beautiful ball pyhton in the UK, never a problem with feeeding it either.

Good luck!

u think u can point it out to me?

i'll pm u my email if u're interested in helping. thanx.

I caught a reticulated python in my garden a couple of months ago, nanny was shitting herself. Took it up north over xmas and released it in a national park.

JatuJuk has lots of stuff out there, just be careful with what is legal and not.

hmmm, well, lets see, i dont plan to buy drugs/crocodiles or rare animals :o

just a ball python :D hmmm should i be careful about that too?

If you wish to have a snake let me know what you want. My fahter has a snake farm up north in Uttradit past Sukothai. Its 300 rai farm and its under the law of WWF. We only export the skins to Europe and Asia. But if you need a snake, I could get it. We have Reticulated and Morulus Python, and Ayer (whips).

I personally think the Morulus is more calm than the Reticulated and when full grown is smaller too. But it would still be 2 1/2 to 3 meters long. Most places where u can take photos use the Morulus Python. I could get you the small ones, so it can get used to you when he grows. Let me know.
