The Most Cinematic Thailand Videos You'Ve Ever Seen. (New Episode)

Recommended Posts

I have always supported this and defended the couple against posters who had a go at them, but I have got to be honest and say it is starting to get on my nerves a little now.... The videos are becoming too "try hard". Too many tricks, angles, text on screen etc. Cant you just make one epiisode without all of that student <deleted>?

Also, started to notice how you rarely reply to anyone on this forum? Kinda selfish, isnt it?

Episode 7 is about the local sight seeing gems of Chiang Mai in Thailand. Worried that they may be missing out on what their own city had to offer, Sacha, Jmayel and Eden set out to explore the nearby sights and attractions of their new home town.

What they discovered was an array of beautiful temples, parks, landscapes and vibrant local markets. Some of the sights they discovered were well known, others were inspired by local knowledge and insight. The binding common factor being that they didn't have to travel for miles to experience something new...

I actually can't believe some of the hostility we have received from these comments. The reason why we don't reply to the posts is because reading them hurts us personally.

We are far from rich and we saved every penny we earned for years to buy the equipment we use. Our work is entirely self taught, we are just trying to create a different life for ourselves by creating videos for a living. I don't understand why some people have such a problem with what we are doing?

In fact we put the text in episode 6 instead of a voice over because so many people were insulting our voice over abilities! Is it necessary?

Sacha and I work extremely hard to create these videos and hopefully one day we may be able to make a living from it. If you really have such a problem with us then please keep your personal insults to yourself. Constructive criticism we can deal with but the rest is totally out of line and I bet if those people were to see us face to face they wouldn't dare speak to us in the same tone. The internet is a great shield like that.

In future if you don't see replies from us. You'll know why. We're not selfish, we just don't appreciate being ripped to pieces for trying to enjoy our lives.

Fair enough, I deserved that to be fair mate.

Maybe I was just having a bad day that day.... I actually enjoy your stuff and think you do a great job. You both seem like a nice couple also so I am sorry for having a go.

Keep up the good work.

Enjoyed that. Wat Palam or whatever it was cooled looks nice. Great work and you guys improve each time, well done.

Can I just say though the music was bloody annoying lol. There was nothing wrong with it and it gave the vid a real cinematic feel but when the music builds up it gets louder. I have JBL base speakers hooked up to my laptop and everytime the music built up, the mrs thrw me a moody look ha ha. I ended up watching it all with the volume down so couldnt here what you are saying.

But yes thats a petty thing to complain about - seeing as it was a realy good video brilliantly made. Well done.

Complete 360 for me. Again, I must have been having a bad day when I posted the other week. Sorry.

Haven't been in your shoes so far as I had to postpone my moving to Thailand thanks to some 'bad timing' of our government on retirement and the leave prior to it. I stumbled upon your shooting and the link to your blog at the Thaivisa Forum.

I enjoyed both the romantic shooting and blog very much. My wife lives in Chiang Mai. I however still live in Belgium and I spend 2 months yearly in Chiang Mai until my leave prior to my retirement. Maybe we'll run into each other one day.

Good luck to both of you.

Episode 8 is the story of what happened when the travel video giants tripfilms.com challenged our Thailand filmmakers to create 6 videos of Bangkok & the surrounding area in 3 days. They were running low on cash and had to put faith in the old car that failed them once before on the journey between Chiang Mai and the Capital City. The mission was tough and the mileage substantial. This time the car had to make it...
