July 20, 201213 yr The plight of Rohingya Muslims in Burma will be discussed at an international conference next month, reports Bernama news agency. Datuk Zahidi Vainul Abidan, president of the Malaysian International Islamic Cooperation Institute, said the event will take place on Aug. 14 although the exact venue was still to be decided. “The aim of the conference, among others, is to create a big group which can voice out and help the Rohingyas, in terms of supplies and contribution of basic and daily needs,†he told a press conference on Thursday.
