Seeking Certain Cooking Utensils In Bangkok

Featured Replies

I'm looking for some cooking utensils that I have not been able to find at the Big C or Tesco...hoping some others may know where to locate....

I'm looking for splatter guard, like this:

http://www.amazon.com/Cuisipro-746588-13-Splatter-Guard/dp/B00004SU1E

And a silicone spatula like this:

http://www.amazon.com/OXO-Grips-Silicone-Flexible-Turner/dp/B000ND1YTU/

Anyone know where I might be able to find in Bangkok?

Thanks

Jacob

Yipeee cooking utensils and a wife in one post !

That's the efficiency of Thaivisa for you

You don't need to but a condo while we're at it? biggrin.png

For absolutely any High End or hard to find Cooking / Kitchen equipment in Bangkok I would always suggest Verasu :

there's also a v good place on GF K-village (Suk 26) opposite Gourmet Market, also of course Emporio (Suk 24). Both expensive, but high quality stuff....

Would never buy from a place whose website has "SHOCK PRICE" written on every item, but never tells you what the price actually is.

The shock is that it's shockingly more expensive than you could ever imagine. You get ripped off on household appliances everywhere in Thailand. Far more expensive than in the West!

Nope, already tried there with no luck.

Haven't heard of that one either. Where is it located?

Verasu is very nice!

I ended up getting some utensils at the mothership--Siam Paragon. I did find what I needed there. Thanks to all for your replies.

Try the grocery at SIAM Paragon, or at the 4th floor of Tokyu dept Store on northern end of MBK (Near the MTS terminal at National Stadium).

but you are not in the west, and for Thailand Verasu is quite reasonable.

certainly the espresso maker on the homepage for 5,990 is a bargain.
