Vehicle Purchase In Udon

Featured Replies

Can anyone give me a heads up on a decent car dealer in Udon ? most likely a pickup new and /or secondhand is what i am after ..is it more cost efficient to buy in BKK or better to stay local ..

Cheers

Cars don't seem to depreciate in Thailand so it's not worth buying secondhand. Just look for a main dealer for whatever car you decide on and see what price and extras you can negotiate. I would stick to buying local and then you will maybe get better after sales service.

Before you go Window shopping I strongly suggest that you use a site like One2Car to understand some price ranges for your target vehicle, you don't need to be Thai rocket scientist to work out the drop down menus to search those pages - look on the right where the red magnifiying glass logo is.

If you can find the local venue for the mobile auctions (sometimes a supermarket carpark once a month) you will pay a lower price, not all auction cars are bad but all the bad cars will be there. ermm.gif

As for dealing with a local or BKK, it might be worth your effort to test a few places by showing interest in a car that you are not goping to buy to understand the price etc. then find the same on-line, bear in mind that the on-line listed price is not fixed expect 10,000-30,000 movement depending on your price range.
