up2you2
The cost for a UK citizen renewing their Passport through Hong Kong is 6,272 THB (£128), plus a courier fee of 973THB (£19.86). Total 7,245 THB. In the event you are able to renew it back in the UK the charge is only 3,797 THB (£77.50). Does anybody pay more for this service? dantilley
I think he means do any other nationalities pay more. I doubt it, the British embassy is known for being very expensive. Tafia
The ironic thing is we Brits pay all that extra and send to Hong Kong who in turn process the application which the passport is then issued from the UK at twice the price
beano2274
And don't forget the new fees as from September, which will see the price in the UK reduced to 72.50GBP for 32 pages.

Plus an extra A$103 if you want it within 48hrs A$351 A$
beano2274
my post was taken from a website, but on checking it was from 2010. (wooppps) But then 180US for an Aussie Passport that now costs the equivalent of 234US, is a big jump.
trainman34014
Rip off Britain likes to keep up it's reputation of ripping off particularly those real Brit's that move out of the country. It's a spiteful way of getting back at us for not living in the old country and being bled to death daily by being taxed into oblivion.

KNJ
All that money, you think at least they would have retained the black with gold embossing on cover. Another EU directive no doubt
mike123ca
Americans get to hold onto their passports for 10 years whereas Canadians are good for 5 years. Now I'm starting to feel cheated..
