I have to say I'll be coming to Bangkok next month and have heard that QBar plays great hip hop and rnb music, being in another country not looking to pick up a hooker but there for the music. Am sure the drinks will be a little more expensive but looking forward to visiting the QBAR. Englishman out for a good night of music and a few drinks.

Pick your night. If it's just a "normal" night, i.e in-house/local/regular DJ's then it's not all that and is just a high(er) class pickup joint.

If it's an outside and usually European promoter running the night it can be very good and a lot more like a traditional club night you'd get in farangland.

Lol Farangland that's funny will check whats on when I'm over. I have heard Sundays are the best nights there.

Been there a couple of times. They can't make a dirty martini for dust. Slightly better than Climax, but not as good as insomnia for a "I'm pissed and want to dance like an idiot to cheesy music" night as long as your other half isn't molested by the sex tourists. Full of freelance hookers, but also groups of Thais out for a piss up.
