Roti Prata Singapore Style

Featured Replies

Miss my Roti Prata in Singapore, anywhere in BKK has exactly the same thing?

There was a Malaysian restaurant called 'Chili Padi' near Chongnonsee BTS station that had it. But it closed a few months ago, does anyone know if they moved somewhere else?

Was just there a month ago. They've moved to Soi Pan - the soi that runs to the Burmese embassy. They're about halfway down on the left.

Not sure if they do prata but there is a Singaporean restaurant on Ekkamai next to Big C. Also saw Polar curry puffs in the freezer section in Tops at Phromg Phong.

I'm sure you can get stuffed pratha in any Indian in Bangkok. All types: potatoe, methi.... Go great with some pickle and yoghurt. Quite heavy mind you but nice for lunch maybe once a week.

Bound to be some around Suk. Soi 3 and 5 like mentioned. They might have another name for it however.

Will try to find the Roti Yummy place..it sounds like it could be ok.

Murthabak and stuffed pratha arent what I'm looking for.....

If you can find a Malaysian restaurant, Roti Chennai is exactly the same thing (I think the S'poreans nicked it from Malaysia)
