Where Can I Buy Lamintated Language Learning Flashcards For Children

Featured Replies

Does anybody know where to buy decent English flashcards for young learners?

I am a native German citizen and I want to do some home schooling with my child to improve his English vocabulary. We are living out in the countryside and the schools here are not the best to teach subjects like English.

Recently he goes to Pratom 3, but what he is learning there will be not enough for later.

So I was thinking to get some flashcards and educational games to do some extra studying at home with him.

If you do have any suggestions or know a place to buy I would really appreciate your post.

Thanks a lot

Btw: I do know the small flashcards sets with verbs, fruit, colours etc., what you can buy for 60 Baht at any corner, but I was actually looking more for quality flashcards and more advanced cards. Thanks

Why not make your own? I download images from the internet and produce my own. An excellent site for these is www.mes-english.com which has a wide range of excellent flash cards. I started taking them to a local guy in the village who runs a computer store for laminating but considered the cost (10-15 baht a copy) not justified. FYI I use them at three local village schools where I volunteer.

Best wishes

I am a teacher and my school recently bought some sets of flashcards from a company called Yo-Yee Education.

We were pretty amazed about the quality and the illustrations after we received the package. Also these flashcards came laminated, what has been a must for my boss to buy them. I know these cards are not the cheapest, but concerning the cost of ink, paper, time and energy to make flashcards self, I rather prefer to spend the money on professional ones. Here are the languages what they offer:

English Flashcards for children:

French Flashcards for kids:

Spanish Flashcards for toddlers:

German Flashcards for beginners:

Chinese Flashcards for early learners:

Thai Flashcards for young learners:

They also have Bingo Sets; this uses the vocabulary in the flashcards again to play a fun, interactive and positive reinforcement game for further educational growth.
