Many will know Supabad from Det5 Suk8 a 9 piece James Brown Tribute band.. the line up this Sunday will feature their new lead Singer Mike Hall (last performing at Checkinn99 with the Bangkok Blues Brothers Band). First time at CheckInn99 last night - the location was rather disappointing (tourist ghetto) but it wasn't too difficult to find once you brush aside some of the street hustlers. Regardless, good music and AWESOME deal on the Heineken jugs. I look forward to the next event.

Hi Shawn.. thanks for coming along and battling through the vagaries of lower Sukhumvit.

Its was Supabad's Bangkok debut for new singer Mike Hall - wasn't it a great turn! I will post some clips on Youtube (they need stabilization and the sound quality is barely average).

We actually have live music every-night normally featuring the House band Music of the Heart - who perform a 5 set nightly cabaret style show / dancing / popular hits / classics of all genres. The "Live at Checkinn99" series are run in addition to the normal house band and this month will be a full lineup.

Sep15 Memphis Belle Night.. 40's swing / Andrews sisters etc This is one of the Checkinn99 popular theme nights - where we transform the venue into a WW2 B17 hanger party.

Commencing Sep 16 and then every Sunday Afternoon 1-5pm thereafter - Live at Checkin99 - Jazz on Sukhumvit. Featuring regular and open mike musicians. We will continue the food and drink specials. We will finish the night with another Soul / Blues bash.

Sat Sep22 - a large function still waiting confirmation.

Sun 30 Sep Blues Brothers Revival night. - Featuring the Bangkok Blues Brothers...our followup to the immensely popular cult movie. Featuring a 14 piece blues band - this will be an advance ticket sale event.
