Saw a 2.2 black Wildtrak this morning with white number plates so it must have been here for a while.

I have seen a few around, i talked to the ford motor company's sales manager for southern Thailand the last time we visited the dealer

He showed me on his laptop the ours was due to be manufactured on the 12 Sept but was very vague about delivery date, come the 13Th i will be on there backs we have waited long enough for our driving holiday to Isaan, Cambodia and Laos

At what point will you be fed up enough to tell them " I not want anymore".

At this point is it going to be a 2012 or a 2013 model?

.........will you be fed up enough to tell them " I not want anymore".

I doubt it.

Valentine speaks pretty good English.

Yes, but wasn't this a question for PC?

Cottonpusher waited over 8 months for his, we ordered on the 28/01/2012 so its not eight months for us yet

We should get ours this September with a bit of luck, still like it better than the other makes and would have to wait for delivery of them also

I certainly would not wait over 8 months for anything but no hurry no worry!!

You like the Mazda, i prefer the ford ranger to the Mazda but would not buy one as it did not come with a tray liner originally

so ungraded to wildtrak, yes i am prepared to wait but not for to much longer, i will really start stirring the pot if they hold up delivery again, may not do any good but you never know unless you try

The only pick-up I don't like the look of is the Nissan, I think all the others look great, have seen a few Rangers on the road and yes they look very good but not that much to warrant waiting over 8 months, hope it arrives this month for you.

It's really well worth the wait I wasn't in a hurry it was replacing my old ranger.

3.2 motor has a lot of grunt I prefer more than less horsepower it's nice to have it around when you need it!

We pickup up our wildtrak 4 days ago after agreeing a month ago to except 4x4 if available before 4x2, the 2.2 has plenty of power and i do not see the need for a 3,2 engine unless towing a boat or caravan, its brilliant on and off road and drives like a dream, told by salesman there is a 8 month waiting period now for wildtrak, if you are prepared to wait its worth it

Today are vehicle was fitted with genuine red plates with the book what allows you to leave the province

the original red plates they fitted were copies which most of them are

They told my wife that anyone who pays cash only have to wait one month for the delivery of there new Ranger

as I plan on getting a ford wildtrack myself, I had no idea wait times where so long, one person on here had to wait 8 months, and the other person has been waiting 9 months plus, can someone on here explain why wait times are so long?, is it because vehicles are not produced a lot in thailand?

If its the case the wait times are this long I will think about getting some other vehicle

The salesman told my wife if you pay cash delivery will be about 1 month, i do not know if they are talking about the ranger or wildtrak or both, you will need to check yourself with a dealer

The waiting list has been long because not all the parts are made in Thailand, some are imported and thats the reason for the long wait they do not always turn up on time, things seem to be improving
