Health Check By Us Certified Doctor

Featured Replies

I need to get a health check signed off by a US certified doctor. It is for applying for a US state high school teaching certificate (will complete the online program soon). The form has no details abut the actual health test, it just has:

"This person is healthy..."

Signature:

Date:

State licensed:

Physician number:

Anyone ever get anything like this signed off in Bangkok?

Thanks,

Drew

In your case since what is needed is simple and straight forward it should not be a problem to get it from a Thai doctor, it is just a matter of finding one with current US medical license. (not the case for completion of complicated forms such as SSI, which Thai doctors tend to be afraid to do).

Quite a lot of the doctors at Bumrungrad, Bangkok Hospital, BNH Hospital and Samitivej trained in the US and at least some would still have current licensure. I suggest you email these hospitals and ask for an internist with current US medical license.

Could also try Dr. nick Walters at Mission Hospital.

There is an American doctor in Chiang Mai but can't tell you if he is still US certified, but odds are good he is.

Dr. Gregory at Sripat medical clinic part of Chiang Mai University

Last year people said he was not there for a year. Has he returned?

I've actually had problems getting accurate answers to that question, even at Sriphat, folks I speak to seem to offer up evasive answers, very odd indeed!
