Bike Insurance

Featured Replies

I apologize in advance as this has probably been posted before, but I couldn't find my answer in a search.

I'm after bike insurance like the title suggests. I have asked the wife to ask around in the usual insurance places, but I get the "Not have" answer every time.

In our household we have 4 "scooters" small runarounds and a CBR.

All of the bikes have got the basic Thai insurance, and from my understanding very limited in protection.

What I want is insurance to cover all my bikes in one policy for theft, fire and damage the usual first class insurance.

I have got class 2 on the CBR, but the policy only covers me, well that's what the policy says.

I want a policy that will cover all the bikes on any rider.

Does anyone know if this is even possible? If yes, has anyone got a company they use and rough prices?

Back home we would call it a trader policy, but I would have to think it would be the same here.

I'm sure all the rental shops in Phuket must be using something similar?

Thanks,

Stefan

Ask Peter over at AA Insurance Brokers - if anyone can help they can - but one policy for several bikes I would suggest highly improbable

The rule is one bike, one policy for private individuals. But no doubt there is some exception!
