TESOL - Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages

TEFL - Teaching English as a Foreign Language

Difference, is TESOL is teaching in either an English speaking country (To non native speakers living there), or to locals in a non English speaking country. Whereas, TEFL is only teaching English to locals in a non English speaking country.

Not sure if there's more to the posters question which has been deleted from a subsequent post or similar, but yeah, that's the basic answer to your question. If you want to teach in Thailand, a TEFL or TESOL course are equally viable, main difference will be the actual teachers who teach it, and whether you do it in a class situation, or online (Class situation you'll learn SIGNIFICANTLY more).
