Phuket Hotels/nightlife/fishing

Featured Replies

Hi, I have been to Thailand several times but never to Phuket.

Some friends of mine that have never been to LOS are coming in March

and would like to spend a few days in Phuket. I would like recommendations

for hotels, not too cheap about 3k-4k range, nice area close to Nightlife.

Also, any suggestions on Nightlife, and also where we might arrange for

a little deep sea fishing.

Thanks. BD

P.S. I should also mention that the Hotels should be "guest" friendly.

If you are looking for nightlife, Patong beach is the place and there is several companies offering fishing trip and diving courses.

I can recommend this hotel, Phuket Palace resort, no charge for a guest in the room incl. breakfast, very friendly staff : http://www.phuketpalace.com/en/main-en.htm and have a look at the pool.

Ok, well this didn't work out very well for information. How about just info on Deep Sea fishing.

I can search the Web, but I would like some personal experience/recommendations.

Well it looks like you wil have to choose between the girls or the fish but I'm sure once you are there you will find both.

I'll move this to the Phuket forum and maybe you'll get better results. From what I can remember, the fishing and diving operators took a heavy hit in the Tsunami. :o
