lovelaos
Think this lot should get a mention, Half a league, half a league, Half a league onward, All in the valley of Death Rode the six hundred. "Forward the Light Brigade! Charge for the guns!" he said. Into the valley of Death Rode the six hundred. "Forward, the Light Brigade!" Was there a man dismay'd? Not tho' the soldier knew Some one had blunder'd. Theirs not to make reply, Theirs not to reason why, Theirs but to do and die. Into the valley of Death Rode the six hundred. Cannon to right of them, Cannon to left of them, Cannon in front of them Volley'd and thunder'd; Storm'd at with shot and shell, Boldly they rode and well, Into the jaws of Death, Into the mouth of hell Rode the six hundred. Flash'd all their sabres bare, Flash'd as they turn'd in air Sabring the gunners there, Charging an army, while All the world wonder'd. Plunged in the battery-smoke Right thro' the line they broke; Cossack and Russian Reel'd from the sabre-stroke Shatter'd and sunder'd. Then they rode back, but not, Not the six hundred. Cannon to right of them, Cannon to left of them, Cannon behind them Volley'd and thunder'd; Storm'd at with shot and shell, While horse and hero fell, They that had fought so well Came thro' the jaws of Death, Back from the mouth of hell, All that was left of them, Left of six hundred. When can their glory fade? O the wild charge they made! All the world wonder'd. Honor the charge they made! Honor the Light Brigade, Noble six hundred! Rather shameful that there are just as many Brits today in LOS committing acts of folly but no longer get poems written about them. draftvader
I think I have read all the responses but I don't think anyone mentioned the "Testicle Brigade." You know, "grow a pair." It is never one. It is always a pair. Some people only have one. Maybe the folks insisting on growing a pair only have one. Or maybe none. Enjoy! WARNING: It's a bit blue!

rubl
The " I never wear pants when i post in TV" brigade. Oh wait, maybe that's just me.... Well, you better be wearing undies, otherwise your buttocks will stick to the chair...... oh dear, i generally don't post with clothes on... that makes a brigade of two... Looking over my shoulder fearing the whiplash may I say, with all due respect of course, you're just a copycat. In the Netherlands we already had a female reading the newspaper while naked. tinfoilhat
perhaps the "non-thread starting" brigade are actually the "i'm happy with my relationship, have plenty of friends offline, can communicate with my partner, know where to find things/how to use google, haven't been ripped off lately, didnt pay sinsod" brigade and therefore have no reason to begin a topic or, perhaps not

My God man wake up! It is beyond bizarre. It even approaches being as strange as my sex life. Not really but I like to throw that in every once in a while just to increase readership in OB. I'm sure there would be plenty of people grateful if we could average one post a day SC Know exactly what you mean ! Surely those members with thousands of posts (whilst never starting a topic) are v lucky that they have not experienced anything that winds them up enough to start a thread?! Which reminds me, the 'start a thread just 'cos I want to start a pretty pointless thread' brigade. Edit - On the whole I can happily handle the obviously overly positive/negative threads when the poster is not just pursuing some 'agenda' - i.e. its a one-off. But when they start similar threads time and time again, they annoy me! Edited October 12, 2012 by F1fanatic
