Wreath-laying ceremony held at Victory Monument on occasion of Veterans Day

A wreath-laying ceremony has been carried out at Victory Monument in Bangkok, on the occasion of Veterans Day.

On the occasion of Veterans Day which falls on the 3rd of February every year, the Thai Armed Forces have arranged for a religious procession at Victory Monument. Privy Councilor Surayuth Chulanon (สุรยุทธ จุลานนท์) represented His Majesty the King in laying down wreaths.

Since today morning, representatives from various entities have placed wreaths at the site. A Veterans Day parade will also be staged in Bangkok this evening.
