Any ideas what happened to the chap who lost his legs? Was he sentenced?

The officer in charge was interviewed and said that all the charges were dropped due to lack of physical evidence, witnesses and forensics, then drove off in his new Mercedes. Seems it was all a misunderstanding, the Iranian in fact misplaced his legs and simply forgot where he left them. The explosion was a local house warming.

The Fact is we do not know weather they are iranians or Israelis mossad ... Things are not clear in this case. One of them is detained in Malaysia other escape and rest in Thailand .

Thailand has good relation with the Israelis government while Malaysia dont . Several months ago Thailand requested the extradition of the captured bomber but since then no news at all

Theory is that if the one who get caught is an iranian, Malaysia wouldn't want to release him to Thailand as they got good relation to Iran but if its an Israelis mossad agent Malaysia also would not want to release it to Thailand as they want to dig up more secrets on their mission .

In this case i think Thailand needs to play their cards wisely and not to offend any of its neighbours by helping the Israelis too much
