I was riding my bike in Adelaide down Bradman Drive from the airport towards the city and the Queen drove past on her way out Adelaide after completing a visit, it was around 730 pm and I was the only person on the road as her entourage drove past, she noticed me and she smiled and then waved..I waved back of course but it occurred to me that when I was a child they would of been thousands of people lining the street to wish her farewell ... now there was nobody and I thought it was sad.
