Hi Guys

I am just completing a house in Phon Thong and i work 8 weeks in Mexico and 3 weeks in Thailand, i used to stay in Pattaya alot but ive been their done that, but the problem is i get bored in the village and i need a hobby, i have always had motorbikes not superbikes so i was wondering if their where any clubs or just decent blokes who like to ride off and explore for a few days, i am 42 from Liverpool England so the idea of stayin with the mrs and kids for 3 whole weeks frankly baffles mw and i dont want to go on the ale everyday.

So if any one point me in the right direction ide be buzzin, if not ile be a one man gang ha ha

Try Tim's bar at the Bueng Palanchai( the big lake in Roi-Et). Tim has a big motorbike himself and he knows a lot of English-speaking folk in Roi-Et. In Pong Thong there are not many foreigners, but you can ask for David. Many people there will know him. At least some years ago he had a Phantom.

Freelife Club in Srisaket is not too far from Roi Et. Take a look at thier facebook page. They are mainly Thai riders but are very friendly and sociable. There annual Bike show is on in a couple of weeks time(24th) so that would be a good opportunity to meet plenty of farang and Thai riders.

Three men, a Scouser, a Manc and a Rasta all in the maternity ward waiting for their partners to give birth. The midwife comes out and tells them congratulations, they're all fathers of beautiful healthy boys, however unfortunately they've run out of the name tags, and the babies have been mixed up, so if they could each go in and identify their sons from any family resemblance etc. The Manc wants to go first, so in he goes and comes out with a black baby The Rasta looks a bit confused, "excuse me", he said, "but don't you think he's likely to be mine ?" "Probably", said the Manc, "but one of them in there's a scouser, and I'm takin' no chances !!!!!"

Hi Jimbobs,

I try to get to Yasothon area (close by Roi Et) once every couple of months or so. Will give you a shout the next time I'm there, maybe we could take off for a day to do some riding and exploring. I ride a Versys too - have you gotten your's yet? It's a great bike to farkle up, lots of storage space if you get a tankbag, topbox and side cases.

Yes that would be great its better if theres a couple i have spent most of my time around Pattaya and flying to various places it will be good to get off the beaten track and do something different, i have not got my Versys yet its a struggle trying to get information out of them,as you probably well know ha ha,, so ime back over on the 23 rd of this month for 3 weeks, then another 8 week stint in Mexico so i will be back in thailand so ime back on the 7th of Feb for 3 weeks, i would be up for any mission you may want to do ,as its a shame i havnt seen more of Thailand in the 4 or 5 years ive been coming here,

So happy days nice one Jim
